Ashdown Forest (www.ashdownforest.org) is just a short ride away for long walks over woods and paths on the Sussex Downs with an opportunity to play "pooh sticks" on the bridge as well as visiting the gift shop almost entirely devoted to Pooh bear (www.pooh-country.co.uk).
Anne of Cleves House (www.susssexpast.co.uk) is just a few miles away with the charming town of Lewes to explore.
Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum (www.bentley.org.uk) is another local place of interest with the famous Drusillas Park (www.drusillas.co.uk) just a short drive away, near Eastbourne.

We have a large display of brochures and leaflets available so you can pick up more information about local places of interest in Kent and Sussex once you arrive.
We also have a selection of local Ordnance Survey maps in the office which we are happy to loan to our more energetic guests!
