All of your 'occasions' are special and we do our utmost to make them as successful as possible for you. It may be a simple Cream Tea for friends or your local club, or a surprise Anniversary Party with all the glitz and glamour we can muster!

If your guests are travelling from a distance, we can also offer bed and breakfast accommodation before/after your event. Your special occasion may be something celebratory or it could be an important business meeting, in which case we have all you require in the way of Conference or Training facilities.

We have become a well-known venue for local folk celebrating a special birthday. We can host a simple dinner for 10 friends or more, or lay on a sumptuous spread for around 100 guests. During the winter months, after the meal, our Baronial Hall and our two Lounges are wonderful places to relax with roaring log fires, or during the summer months maybe your fancy runs to a BBQ or tea on the lawn, looking out over the Sussex Downs. It doesn’t even have to be a special birthday, any excuse will do.
If you don't have a specific date or reason to celebrate, why not just take the opportunity to simply arrange a get-together here at Pilgrim Hall. We can put together a package of suggestions to make the occasion go with a swing. How about an afternoon tea or perhaps a wine tasting, a four or five course Banquet or a finger buffet … so many options, but the choice is yours.
So many years of marriage demands a gathering of the clan, or perhaps it’s the anniversary of a very special date that you want to honour with a group from your club or church. We are here to give you the venue and the ideas to make it a success. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune, we can keep it simple for you or if you really want to ‘push the boat out', with the assistance of our excellent Head Chef, Carl, we can produce a banquet that your guests will talk about for months to come.
With the loss of a loved one, there is always the additional worry of coping with all the forms and paperwork that must be dealt with.
In an effort to ease things a little we are always willing to take some of the burden for you by arranging the Wake here at Pilgrim Hall. Our caring and efficient staff will help things to run smoothly and sensitively.
Obviously this is not something one can plan ahead for, but please do keep us in mind if someone you know has need of a venue with people who care.
